Answers for picking the right route, account sync, and LAN behavior.

Do I need three different apps?
No. PVTKRRX is one runtime with three separate routes inside it: PC Local, LAN Bridge, and Remote Seedbox. The important rule is to install the route that matches the playback location.
Where do I get the Stremio AuthKey?
Use Login + Fetch AuthKey first. If manual fallback is needed, open https://web.stremio.com/, sign in, open browser dev tools console, run JSON.parse(localStorage.getItem('profile')).auth.key, then copy the key. Do not use /#/settings/account (that route returns Page not found).
Why does it still say popup blocked?
Browser shields/extensions can still block scripted window.open calls. Manual fallback always works: open https://web.stremio.com/ yourself, copy AuthKey, then click Paste AuthKey From Clipboard.
Does one-click setup install on phone and TV fully automatically?
Not fully. LAN Bridge auto-setup creates the correct hosted route and pair token, but each phone/TV still needs the addon installed once in Stremio. After that first install, routing is automatic while the host PC stays online.
Why can't I find Add Addon URL or configure options on Apple TV?
This is a Stremio-on-Apple platform limitation in some builds. Workaround: install PVTKRRX from Stremio Web or desktop while logged into the same Stremio account, then reopen the Apple TV app so addons sync to tvOS.
If my PC IP changes tomorrow, do phone/TV apps auto-sync?
Yes, as long as the host PC desktop app/server is running. It sends a LAN heartbeat immediately on startup and then periodically, and hosted LAN links redirect to the latest active endpoint. Reinstall is not required for normal DHCP IP changes.
When auto-sync can fail, and why?
Auto-sync can fail when:
  • Desktop app is not running on the host PC (pair goes offline)
  • TV/phone is on a different network than the host PC
  • Firewall/router blocks local relay ports
  • Pair ID/key in config no longer matches active host state
